"A Tailor-Made Bride" by Karen Witemeyer

February was Romance Month at Clash of the Titles

Clash of The Titles

For February, Clash of the Titles featured two gooey, deliciously sigh-worthy clashes.

Amanda Flower hosted Most Romantic Moments Clash One: Karen Witemeyer's A Tailor-Made Bride vs. Joanne Troppello's Mr. Shipley's Governess.

"There’s a reason why Romance is the best-selling and most powerful fiction genre," Flower, author of the India Hayes mystery, Maid of Murder. "It makes a story relatable to the reader. Even if the story stars non-human characters, like some fantasy, sci-fi, or speculative fiction, the romantic relationship gives the story a human side with which the reader can sympathize."

A Tailor-Made Bride drew the most votes, and we thank Joanne with an "I Took The COTT Challenge" button, and our appreciation.

  12. Yea, even when a story doesn't have romance in it people tend to read into it and find some of their own.
